Ace of Cups Brand Identity

In my Visual Design course, I was tasked with creating a brand identity for a coffee shop.  I began the process by creating a mood board which informed the color scheme, typescale, and ultimately inspired the name and logo.  I decided on the name Ace of Cups because in Tarot this card signifies new beginnings.  When this card appears it indicates that you will be feeling happy, positive, and good about yourself.  The meaning of this card is central to Ace of Cups coffee shop.  With our coffee, products, and customer service we strive to instill all the positive energy that Ace of Cups has to offer.
